English as a Second Language (ESL) Program Information
Curriculum
Citiwide provides English instruction for students at five different levels: Basic, Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4, and Transitional. In order to determine the level of our students we have them complete two CASAS - Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems - exams. These tests examine both the listening and reading skills of the test taker. Completing half a level generally takes about 8 weeks.
